The idea of playing the lottery is to limit your purchase of tickets to around $5 a week- or whatever you think you can afford. After all, when you stop for gas, don't you buy something at the counter like gum or a coke? The lottery is a fun thing to do, and who knows...maybe you'll get lucky. If you dont play, you have no chance at all of winning anything. Besides, haven't odd things happened to you in your lifetime that defy odds? There's been numerous occasions where I've run into someone or something happened and upon reflecting on it later, thought "what were the odds in that happening?"
